Team,

We have a tournament coming up the first weekend of October in Myrtle Beach. This will be Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd. It's always a great tournament with good turnout from the teams around the area. Would be nice to have a good showing out there.The team has already paid our entry fee from dues paid throughout the year. All paying members of the team are invited and encouraged to come out and play. If you would like to participate, but have not paid dues, please contact me directly and we will work out separate dues for the shortened year.

At this point, we need to work on getting an accurate head count of who plans to attend. Please let us know if you will attend one or both days. In the past, there have been players that just came for one day...we just need to know that ahead of time. We can pick up players from other teams, but need to know ahead if that is even necessary. I feel like we should be able to get a good turnout for this event.

The club has covered the entry fee, but you are on your own for a place to stay. I will be booking a few hotel rooms up there soon, so also let me know if you will need a place to stay. In the past, we have gotten a couple rooms and put 3 or 4 guys together. Usually makes the rooms very cheap. When I have the number of guys going and those that need rooms, I can let you know the exact price. I will probably head up Friday night too, if anyone is interested...

We will have pick up ball again this Thursday @ 6:15pm on Sullivans. Last time we met up and got a pretty good run in. This will be our last couple weeks to get ready for Myrtle...come on out.

Please let us know what if you can make it out to Myrtle Beach. Should be a fun time and would like to put together a solid team for this.
