For those who can make it we will be having pick-up on Thursday September 29th at 6:15 on Sullivans.
Here is another update regarding the Myrtle Beach Tournament coming up this weekend.
Our First Game is at 12:00 Sat. 10/1 at the address below. Try to get there at least 30 minutes to an 1 hour before the game so we can get ourselves ready.
If there are any changes I will let you know.

If you know of anybody who is going that I left out, please let us know. I have booked 4 rooms for us and need to know if I need to get more and cancel one of them. Please reply and let us know 1: If you can make it and for what days, 2: If you will need a hotel room.
For those who need hotel rooms, I was able to get a gov. discount through my work so it will be about $23 a person, 4 to a room or more if you want. If you have any questions let us know.
I assume everybody is carpooling or has their own way of getting their as I have not heard anything yet.

Myrtle Beach Tournament Information -

We have a tournament coming up the first weekend of October in Myrtle Beach. This will be Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd. It's always a great tournament with good turnout from the teams around the area. Would be nice to have a good showing out there.The team has already paid our entry fee from dues paid throughout the year. All paying members of the team are invited and encouraged to come out and play. If you would like to participate, but have not paid dues, please contact me directly and we will work out separate dues for the shortened year.
At this point, we need to work on getting an accurate head count of who plans to attend. Please let us know if you will attend one or both days. In the past, there have been players that just came for one day...we just need to know that ahead of time. We can pick up players from other teams, but need to know ahead if that is even necessary. I feel like we should be able to get a good turnout for this event.
The club has covered the entry fee, but you are on your own for a place to stay. I will be booking a few hotel rooms up there soon, so also let me know if you will need a place to stay. In the past, we have gotten a couple rooms and put 3 or 4 guys together. Usually makes the rooms very cheap. When I have the number of guys going and those that need rooms, I can let you know the exact price. I will probably head up Friday night too, if anyone is interested...
We will have pick up ball again this Thursday @ 6:15pm on Sullivans. Last time we met up and got a pretty good run in. This will be our last couple weeks to get ready for Myrtle...come on out.
Please let us know what if you can make it out to Myrtle Beach. Should be a fun time and would like to put together a solid team for this.

We have just received the schedule for the Ashville Tournament. I have attached it for all to view. Our first game is at 9:00am which sucks. Clarke and I were talking and felt it was a very good idea to drive up Friday night, stay over in Spartanburg and leave an hour drive for the morning. This would definitely beat waking up and leaving no later than 5:00am on Saturday. I have found a hotel in Spartanburg for $77 a night. It is a residence in so they are apartment like rooms that can hold a good amount of people. If we all split the rooms it would be very inexpensive.
We need to get a head count of who is planning on going this weekend. I have 2 questions below. In your reply make sure you are clear on which one you are answering for. Let us know if you have any questions.
Non-Charleston Players:
Non- Charleston Hurricanes are more than welcome to play in this tournament. The cost will be $50 a person which does not include your portion of the hotel room your are staying in. This is what we have done in the past. There are plenty of games so everybody will get more than enough playing time.
