We have the next 2 weekends to practice before the Greenville tourney. This weekend we will practice at 3pm on Sullivan's Island not our normal 1pm time. Let's get as many people out as we can and ourselves ready for Greenville. See you guys on Sunday.

I hope everybody enjoyed the 4th.

Just to remind everybody, we have games on Saturday July 10th at Columbia. These games have been planned for a few weeks now. We are returning the favor for Columbia coming down last week.  Times are TBD but plan around 12 or 1. Let's get a good showing as these are the last games before Belle Chere.   We can all carpool and it is not a long drive at all.

I will be sending out an e-mail with the schedule for the games on saturday.  Lets get a good travel squad together for this one.  Let me know if you have any quesitons.

We are looking forward to hosting you again this year.  Our field location is at Pittman Park, Field #4 (3rd on left as you enter complex).  It is located at 420 Blacks Road in Greenville, SC 29615.  Easy access from I-385 and Roper Mountain Road exit.

Games will start at 10AM and we should be finished around 4PM.  If everyone wants 3 games, it will look like the schedule below.  If not, we can run extended game times of (4) 15 minute quarters and longer breaks.

Rules:

        * (4) 12 minute running time, 5 minute half, 2 minute between quarters
        * Time and 1/2 penalty minutes
        * Goalie crease count only
        * Beer permitted on sidelines (if needed)
        * Last two minutes, leading team must keep in box

Schedule:

        * 10AM: Inferno v. Greenville
        * 11AM: Charleston v. Asheville
        * 12PM: Asheville v. Inferno
        * 1 PM: Charleston v. Greenville
        * 2-2:15PM - Break
        * 2:15PM - #4 v. #3
        * 3:15PM - #2 v. #1

We will have some water available for each team, so please leave some room in your coolers.  Plenty of room for canopy tents at this facility.  Please bring $65 per game/per team for officials (or $130 - you can make checks payable to Greenville Lacrosse Club or directly to the official if needed).  We will cover all games we play, including the 3rd game for all as the host.

There will be practice Sunday June 6th at 1:00 on the Sullivan's Island fields.  We have had good turnouts the last few practices so lets continue with that this weekend.  It would be nice to get some full field in before the games the following week.

I have tentatively set up games for Sunday, June 13th against Savannah and Greenville. The games will be played at our Sullivan's Island Practice Fields on Sullivan's Island behind the tennis courts, to the left of Poe's Tavern.  First game will probably start at 11:00 am. Please get this on your calendar! The teams are confirming with their plans but I want to get this out to everyone.
